CURRENTLY CRUSHING

Believe it or not, fall is just around the corner. It's my favorite time of year, with new classes, the gorgeousness of leaves changing, sweaters, tea, caramel brûlée lattes. . . well, you get the idea. With the changing season coming, there's also the change in our closets. Mine consists of dragging out the dozen sweaters I've missed the past few, hot and humid months, and brushing off my favorites long boots. There's also the joy when learning that you might be missing something in your closet. While I've worked on pairing down my closet to the basics and neutrals (my closet is mainly black, white, and grey) in order to make a more minimalist effort, there's two colors which I've implemented into my closet over the past few years: mustard yellow and burgundy. These two tones work well with my skin tone (fair with olive undertones), and I'm usually drawn to these two particular colors no matter where I am. Old Navy*--my go-to shop for good, easy-to-wear, modest clothing I can wear at my school (which has a strict class dress code)--has come out with new pieces that I've been inspired by, and I hope they inspire you, too.
