As I look at everything in my bathroom, I've realized that there are truly only 5 items that I always keep at hand. Today, I want to share with you the five items that you need today. I have tried them all (as well as many other versions) and these are my five favorites above them all. Check them out and comment on your favorite beauty items below!
Garnier Micellar Water, $6.99
This micellar water has been a staple of mine for the past five years and removes makeup easily-even waterproof mascara! As someone who has sensitive lashes, it's been important to have something that will gently remove my mascara, and this does the trick! You can find it at your local stores such as Target (p.s. Target has their own version now, too!).
Physician's Formula Organic Wear Natural Origin Mascara in Ultra Black, $10.49
Sensitive eyes, rejoice! Physician's Formula has created a 70% organic mascara that can be easily worn all day. I could never figure out why my eyes always felt dry and scratchy, then I realized it was my mascara! After switching I can now wear it all day long, even for long hours at my restaurant! You can find it at your local drugstores and also on the Physician's Formula website here.
Trader Joe's Hydrating Face Sheet Mask, $1.99
These sheet masks are super hydrating, perfect for dry skin weather (or really any time of the year). I always pick up a few to keep in my bathroom drawer--at under $2, this mask is perfect for a girls night in or some self-care time; pick up a few at your local Trader Joe's!
Garnier Whole Blends Avocado Oil & Shea Butter Nourishing Hair Mask, $6.99
This hair mask (aka super deep conditioner) is perfect for those with dry hair, or someone just looking for extra moisture. For myself, I like it because it helps keep my frizzy hair tamed down. Just plop a handful on after you wash your hair, leave it for a few mintues (time to shave!) and rinse. It's also great for flat/dull hair. You can find it at your local stores or on Garnier's website here.
Milani Prep + Brighten Rose Face Oil, $13.99
This facial oil is the perfect oil prep before applying makeup. I apply it right after my moisturizer to let it sink in before applying any makeup. As you can see from the photo, I obviously love it as my bottle is almost empty. It not only keeps my skin glowing, but it also aids in keeping my makeup on throughout any particularly hard shifts at work. You can find it at most stores near you (i.e. Walmart, Target, etc.) and on their website here.
